Shown in your greeting, and to your club-mates.
Safe to add. It is your public competition ID β the number printed on match results and your USPSA classification page, not a password. We use it only to match your official results and classification to your account.

The field of view is what turns a marked target into a real distance. Use the video mode's vertical field of view β a spec sheet usually quotes the diagonal or the photo mode. Leave it blank if you don't know.

Keep your videos in your own Google Drive β Cutaway doesn't need to store them.
From a share link
Works for everyone, nothing to set up. In Drive, open the video β or the folder it's in β β Share β Anyone with the link β Copy link, then paste it in Cutaway (a folder lists its videos to pick from). You decide who else can see it β in Drive β and you can turn sharing off again once the video is in.

Pick videos straight from your Drive and save finished edits back to it; once a video is safely in your Drive we delete our copy. We can only see the files you pick and the ones we save for you, in a Cutaway folder β nothing else in your Drive.
Your AI connections (optional)
Connect your own AI service and the app can write your captions, coach you and find the targets in your videos. You pay the service directly for what you use. You don't need one β without it the app writes the captions itself from what it measured.

Download a copy of everything your account owns β runs with shot times, gun setups, and your club links β as a single JSON file.

This immediately and permanently erases your videos, runs, gun setups, stage plans, saved AI keys, AI prompts and your account, and disconnects Google Drive (the files in your Drive stay yours). It cannot be undone. Official match results a club published stay under your name β ask the club admin to rename them if you want that too.
